Course Overview

The ET Pleasant Prairie sprint triathlon is a flat and fast race that starts on the west side of Lake Andrea.

Athletes will swim 750 meters on a triangle shaped swim course.  Transition will be in the grass area right next to the beach and swim out.

The 19K bike course is a “four-loop” course (like on the Olympic Games, cool) and starts on the west lake frontage road (Park Dr.) and heads northeast toward 88th Ave.  Athletes will turn right and go south on 88th to 95th St. At 95th athletes will make a u-turn and go back north on 88th. At Park Dr, they will turn left.  Athletes will pass the transition area and continue to the end of Park Rd, then make another u-turn and go back north on park toward 88th to complete their second, third, and fourth loops.

The out-and-back 5K run course will follow the lake front path going east toward the RecPlex and partially around the lake to the turn-around, then head back on the path to the finish line.

Packet Pickup

  • Packet pickup dates, times and locations can be found on the “Schedule” menu tab!

Key things to know about Packet Pickup:

    • All race participants must pick up their own packet. Please plan accordingly. This is a USA Triathlon requirement and is strictly enforced. Exceptions will not be allowed.

As a USAT sanctioned race we must follow the USAT packet pickup requirements.

ALL athletes are required to show photo ID. NO ID, NO RACE, NO EXCEPTIONS.

Every single participant in your race must have a photo ID, this includes all relay participants. Youth athletes without an ID must be accompanied by a parent/guardian with a photo ID.

Athletes may only pick up their own packets. Under no circumstances may an athlete pick up a packet for another person. All relay members must be present to receive the packet, or split up the relay packet for each participant.

If an athlete does not bring a photo ID to packet pickup they have two options:

1) Go home to get it.

2) Have someone email/fax them a copy of their photo ID.
