Course Overview

The ET Pleasant Prairie sprint duathlon is a flat and fast race that starts on the west side of Lake Andrea.

Athletes will run and out-and-back 1.5 miles on the lake front path.  Transition will be in the grass area right next to the start/finish line area.

The 19K bike course is a “four-loop” course (like on the Olympic Games, cool) and starts on the west lake frontage road (Park Dr.) and heads northeast toward 88th Ave.  Athletes will turn right and go south on 88th to 95th St. At 95th athletes will make a u-turn and go back north on 88th. At Park Dr, they will turn left.  Athletes will pass the transition area and continue to the end of Park Rd, then make another u-turn and go back north on park toward 88th to complete their second, third, and fourth loops.

The out-and-back 5K run course will follow the lake front path going east toward the RecPlex and partially around the lake to the turn-around, then head back on the path to the finish line.
